Description Item Specs   This is a good entry level cutting sword. Blade is razor sharp and balanced. Tight Tsukamaki (hand wrapping). Blade can fit in scab (saya) properly and tight. Features Blade: The blade has been constructed from through hardened 1055 carbon steel. It features a wire-brushed hamon with a deep bohi and an extended chu-kissaki. The blade comes full tang and sharp. Saya: The saya is painted in a black ishime (pebble) pattern and features golden shitodome and brown cotton sageo. Saya fits tightly with the blade. Tsuka: The habaki is brass. The tsuba is blackened brass with a sukashi cut-out and the seppa are brass. The fuchi and kashira are blackened alloy in a higo style. The ito is brown cotton, wrapped over real ray skin. The tsuka is double pinned with two bamboo mekugi pins. Note: Sword stand sold separated.
