Description Item Specs   This is a forged steel tachi samurai sword. It has a through hardened blade with a wire-brushed hamon, cotton ito, and faux rayskin. It is a tachi style katana that would be perfect as a display piece or serious use. Overall Length:39" Blade:Sharp Blade Length:26.75 " Blade Material:Carbon Steel Handle Length:10.75" Handle Material:Wood Condition:Brand New Features Blade: The blade of the sword has been constructed from carbon steel with a full length bohi and wire-brushed hamon and a chu kissaki. The blade tapers significantly and is more reminiscent of a tachi-style blade. Saya: The scabbard of the sword is wooden with a black gloss finish. There also highly ornate metal koiguchi, scabbard rings, and kojiri. Tsuba: The tsuba is made of alloy metal and is in a traditional tachi-style motif. Handle: The handle of the sword has a wood core, with faux black rayskin samegawa and black cotton ito wrap. It is double pegged with bamboo, and has alloy peony menuki. The fuchi and kashira are alloy and it features a black tassel on the kashira ring. Note: Sword stand sold separately.
