This is the Forge Folded Handmade Four Sided Small Han Wu Sword Chinese Jian. The sword is a good quality jian that shows excellent forging and good quality mounts. The blade is four-sided and is polished forge folded steel with around 1,000 layers. This is a highly ornate sword and would be an excellent display piece.

Sword comes in a display box with cotton sword bag.

Features

Blade: The blade of the Jian has been constructed from forge folded
steel, through hardened, and highly polished. It has a crisp four-sided
blade geometry.
The blade comes full tang and sharp.
Scabbard: The scabbard is masterfully made with exotic red-colored wood,
with the wood contouring to the shape of the sword. The chape (tip) of
the scabbard is cast bronze with a lion dog design. A black waxed cotton
cord is tied around the upper half of the scabbard with a cast metal
carrying clip with a monkey motif.
Handle: The handle core is made of wood, with black waxed cotton cord
tightly wrapped around the handle in the traditional "X" pattern over
brown waxed cord. The guard is also cast bronze, and displays
intricately detailed pheonixes. The pommel has a lion dog motif, also of
cast bronze.
