The Templar Knights have been shrouded in myth since their beginning almost 900 years ago. Depending on the source, the Knights Templar were Hero's of the Crusade protecting pilgrims along the hazardous road to the Middle East, or they mere a violent order intent on undermining the Churches power. Since their capture (on Friday the 13th October 1307) and their leaders execution the order has become topic of myth and conspiracy.

The treasure that had fueled the Knights being disbanded disappeared along with an entire fleet of ships. Some believe that the Knights Templar are still around today, but under a different name, guarding their secretes. Some secretes as powerful as the Holy Grail itself.This is the third generation of the Templar Sword.

This sword is shorter than its predecessor and is more functional. The blade has been unsharpened. The sword also has almost perfect balance and incredible attention to detail of the symbols, seals and artistry of the Knights sword.

The Sword includes a wooden wall mount plaque.

Features

Blade: The blade of the sword is 440 stainless steel with an unsharpened edge. The tip of the blade is sharp. The sword also features a traditional ridge along the middle of the blade. Engraved into the blade is a complex design of scroll work with the cross of Jerusalem.
Guard: The guard of the sword is quillion style and built solid. In the middle of the cross bar is a golden medallion of two knights on horse back, the seal of the Templar Knights. Another alternate seal is on the right hand side of the guard on a shield. On the left hand side is the Cross of Loraine behind a shield. Detailed scroll work with griffins is found along the rest of the guard. Handle: The handle of the sword is steel with two gold medallions.
The first medallion is a picture of a monk with his mouth sealed, a symbol of the secrecy of the order. The second medallion is another cross of Lorain; the holy equal sided cross awarded to the order by the King of Jerusalem. The pommel of the handle is solid steel with a cut out of the cross in gold.
