Description Item Specs   This is a 44" Hand honzed Samurai Katana sword with sharp edge. Overall Length:44.5 " Blade Material:Carbon Steel Blade Length:30 " (Including Habaki) Blade:Sharp Handle Length:11.5 " Handle Material:White Ray Skin Same Tsuba Diameter:4 " Accessories:Sword Bag Condition:Brand New Features Blade: The blade is made of carbon steel and sharpened. A bloodline has been added to the top of the blade to decrease the weight of the blades and give audible feedback when swung. The swords are full tang. Scabbard: The scabbard (Saya) of the sword is made of wood with a matte black finish. The Sageo is a black cotton cord wrapped over the Kurigata. Hand Guard ( Tsuba ): The Habaki is a one piece brass construction with two copper seppas. The actual Tsuba are blackened metal with a Pin Wheel design. Handle ( Tsuka ): The Tsuka is wrapped with a black chemical fiber cord over white ray skin ( Same ). The tang is secured by two bamboo pins ( Mekugi ). The handle fittings ( Menuki ) are zinc alloy dragons on each side of the handle. The Kashira is oxidized metal secured by the black chemical fiber cord. Note: Sword stand sold separately.
