Description Item Specs   The Misericord Dagger, or mercy dagger, first appeared during the 12th century. The Misericord was used to deliver the death stroke (the mercy stroke) to seriously wounded knights. The blade of the dagger was small enough to slip between the plates of armor. The dagger could also be used to dispatch active opponents. This was the father of the rondel. The pommel of the sword is in the shape of a flower bud.
