The folding pattern is in a linear grain pattern. The tip has a false double edge. The blade comes full tang with a large ring pommel and is very sharp. Saya: The saya features an antiqued brass koiguchi and a practical belt mount made of antiqued steel and partially wrapped in nylon cord. The end cap of the scabbard is antiqued brass with a rubber bottom to help protect the scabbard. The scabbard itself is polished dark wood to give an antique feel. Tsuka: The tsuba is small and made from blackened steel. The tsuka features a wood core with two mekugi pins and a large ring pommel. The tsuka and pommel are wrapped in black cloth, and black nylon string is wrapped along it in a criss-cross pattern to aid grip.
