Featuring forge folded 1070 steel that is through hardened with an imitation hamon, this sword is very pleasing aesthetically but it can also be a serious workhorse sword. This sword has a great presence in the hand with very streamlined and ergonomic fittings. The blade is through hardened and an imitation hamon added to the blade in a notare pattern. It also features an extended chu-kissaki. Saya: The saya has a black gloss finish with a buffalo horn koiguchi. It has a thick brown silk sageo with no shitodome. Koshirae: The habaki is made of brass with brass seppa and tsuba in the famous Musashi double rings style. The fuchi and kashira are made of brass and are elegantly simple. The brown silk ito is wrapped tightly over white samegawa in hineri-maki style and the menuki are brass dragons. Note: Sword stand sold separately.
