Description Item Specs   This is the Greek Corinthian Helmet. This helmet originated in Greece in the 7th Century B.C. and was later adopted by the Romans. It was a popular style all the way up to the 4th Century B.C. and was the basis for many helmets of the renaissance period. These medieval helmets were designed to be close-fitting. Shaped to the skull with only small openings left for the eyes, nostrils and mouth. This design allowed for maximum protection, visibility and air flow. And it must have been a terrifying sight to the enemy.
