The Ninjaken was the sword used by the ninja. This sword was the compete opposite of the Katana weilded by the Samurai. Where the Katana was a long sword capable of cutting through armor and multiple bodies, the Ninjaken was a short sword used primarily for stabbing opponents. The Katana was said to hold the soul of the Samurai and became an heir loom in Samurai famlies, the Ninjaken was disposable weapon, easily discarded after it was used. The attributes of the Ninjaken was one of the reasons the Samurai so feared the Ninja. The Ninjaken were perfect for assasination missions, and closed quarter fighting. Where the Samurai followed the rulesof Bushido, the Ninja followed the rules of survival.

Features

Attributes of the Weapon:
Blade: The blade of the sword has been constrcuted from 440 Stainless Steel with a straight edge design. An aesthetic hamon runs along the edge of the blade. The blade comes slightly sharpened with the sharp point.
Scabbard: The scabbard is sturdy aluminum with an imitation black leather cover. A black Sage-o has been tied around the upper half of the scabbard. The scabbard throat is black steel with a dragon wrapping around it.
Guard: The habaki is steel with the kanji for strength engraved into the steel. The guard is square design associated with Ninjaken swords.
Handle: The Fuchi is another black steel fitting. The handle is imitation ray skin with black Menuki and a black cord wrap. The Kasira is blackened steel with a warrior in relief.
