Description Item Specs   Bushido, the way of the warrior, was the code of chivalry for the Samurai Class of Japan. However, unlike the European concept of chivalry, the code of Bushido was rarely spoken of or written, it was instead a product of the warriors life fused with Confucian doctrine. Bushido focused on honor, loyalty, frugality, benevolence, and duty. The code was uniform across all of Japan and remained intact and almost unchanged until the end of the 19th century. Through the codes focus on a good death, the Bushi could find a way of life. This is our collection of Bushido Bokkens. The Bokkens are all Wakazashi length and feature one of the pillars of Bushido carved into the wood of the blade. Which Warrior Are You? This is the Bushido Code Duty Wooden Wakazashi Bokken Samurai Sword Overall Length: 30 " Blade Material: Wood Blade Length: 21.5 " Handle Material: Cord Wrap Handle Length: 8.5 " Condition: Brand New Features The Bokken has been constructed from wood. The Kanji for Duty has been engraved by hand into the Bokken. The handle has been wrapped with a brown nylon wrap. A plastic guard and rubber fitting have been added to the bokken.
