It was the armor of choice for many knights until the invention of plate armor in the 14th century. This chainmail hauberk is a great functional piece of armor. Featuring 18 gauge blackened steel flat rings interlocked in a 4-in-1 pattern and riveted, this chainmail hauberk is ready for action. The high quality sturdy construction make this a great piece to wear for reenactments and display. For correct measurements, wear all clothes and padding before taking measurements to find the right chainmail size.
