Description Item Specs   This is the Munetoshi Handmade Forged Wakizashi T-10 Blade with O-Kissaki. The blade is made of T-10 modern alloy high carbon steel and features a gunome midare hamon pattern with light niku in mirror polish. The O-kissaki area features an O-maru boshi that turns back sharply towards the spine. The tsuka or handle is single bamboo mekugi pinned and has real black lacqured samegawa or rayskin panels and is wrapped with blue synthetic fiber ito in katate-maki battle wrap with brass sea horse menuki. Featuring fittings with solid blackened brass Higo style textured fuchi and kashira, a blackened brass tsuba, and a high quality black lacquered saya with genuine buffalo horn koiguchi and rounded kojiri. This wakizashi has a commanding prescence in the hands and really shines when used for drawing cuts and cutting light to medium targets such as paper and tatami mats.
