The blade comes full tang and sharp. Saya: The saya is wooden with a black gloss finish and bull horn koiguchi. Tsuka: The habaki is brass. The tsuba is blackened brass with a warrior theme. The fuchigashira are a made of metal alloy. The ito is black cotton with alternating cross overs over real ray skin samegawa. The tang is double pinned with bamboo mekugi.
