The hamon of the sword is authentic with a midare pattern. The blade comes full tang and sharp. Saya: The saya is wooden with a bamboo painted design and has a black chemical fiber sageo. The kojiri is made of yellow buffalo horn, the kurikata is wooden, and the koiguchi is hardened. Tsuka: The habaki is brass. The tsuba is blackened iron with a bamboo theme. The fuchigashira match the tsuba and are blackened alloy with bamboo theme. The menuki are long bamboo themed antiqued alloy. The ito is black cotton with alternating cross overs over real ray skin samegawa. The tang is double pinned with bamboo mekugi.
