This functional Chainmail Haubergeon shirt is stops mid thigh with sleeves that stop at the elbow. It has flat rings, wedge riveted with flat alternate solid rings. It is made of 18 gauge mild steel. The rings have a black plated finish and have a 9mm diameter.

Chainmail is one of the oldest and most prolific armors seen during history; it saw widespread use throughout not only medieval Europe but in dozens of different cultures. Chainmail is a flexible armor which was made from interlinked metal rings. The wearing of chainmail has been an effective means of protection in combat and war of countries.

Our chainmail shirt is authentic replicas of actual Chainmail wore by knights.

This chain mail shirt is made from thousands of steel rings. Half the rings are riveted closed, the other half are solid.
