The Ancient Iron Warrior 1070 Folded Steel Samurai Katana Sword is an
intermediate level katana meant for the pracitioner or collector.
Featuring forge folded 1070 steel that is through hardened with an
imitation hamon, this sword is very pleasing aesthetically but it can
also be a serious workhorse sword. This sword has a great presence in
the hand with very streamlined and ergonomic fittings.

Features

Blade: The blade has been constructed of forge folded 1070 steel. The
blade is through hardened and an imitation hamon added to the blade in a
notare pattern. It also features an extended chu-kissaki.
Saya: The saya has a black gloss finish with a buffalo horn koiguchi. It has a thick brown silk sageo with no shitodome.
Koshirae: The habaki is made of brass with brass seppa and tsuba in the
famous Musashi double rings style. The fuchi and kashira are made of
brass and are elegantly simple. The brown silk ito is wrapped tightly
over white samegawa in hineri-maki style and the menuki are brass
dragons.
