Item Specs

The Misericord Dagger, or mercy dagger, first appeared during the 12th century. The Misericord was used to deliver the death stroke (the mercy stroke) to seriously wounded knights. The blade of the dagger was small enough to slip between the plates of armor. The dagger could also be used to dispatch active opponents. This was the father of the rondel.

Blade: The blade of the dagger has been constructed from 440 Stainless Steel with a ridge down the center and short ricasso. The dagger comes slightly sharpened with a very sharp point.
Scabbard: The scabbard of the sword has been constructed from steel. The drag of the scabbard and body feature an ornate vine pattern.
Guard: The guard of the sword features a detailed cross guard with vines and sun bursts.
Handle: The handle of the sword has been constructed from 440 Stainless Steel. The pommel of the sword is in the shape of a flower bud.
