This is an Ornamental Black Tachi Sword with Mon. This is a great decorative and display piece for collectors who like the traditional tachi mounts. It comes with a slightly-sharpened carbon steel blade and is for display use only.

Features

Blade: The blade is made from carbon steel and is slightly-sharpened. It features a wirebrushed false edge.
Scabbard: The scabbard is crafted from wood and is mounted in traditional style tachi mounts with a traditional decorative tachi ito-maki style knot. There are also 8 mons imprinted onto the saya on both sides with a decorative kojiri.
Handle: The guard is an ornamental dragon theme design with the fuchi/kashira complimenting that design. The handle is constructed of wood and is wrapped in brocaidered cloth and multi-color ito.
