This is the 9mm 17 Gauge Titanium Flat Riveted Functional Chainmail Aventail. Chainmail is among the most versatile forms of armor, providing stab and slash protection whilenot inhibiting range of motion compared to plate armor. An aventail is meant to protect the lower neck and shoulder area that is vulnerable and exposed using basic armor. This chainmail aventail features flat 9mm titanium rings that are riveted together in a 4-in-1 pattern and features a leather liner along the neck area. Titanium chainmail is like the Rolls Royce of the chainmail armor world, light as aluminum, strong as steel, and will take almost everything you can throw at it.
