The Munetoshi Kuren Iaito Wakizashi is a great training tool for those who train using daito or sword pairs. The handling of this wakizashi iaito is light and agile, yet has a fair blade presence when swung. This will make a great workhorse iaito for your wakizashi training.

Features

Blade: The blade of the iaito is made of carbon steel that has been through hardened, so it will withstand full swings. The wire-brush hamon is in a notare midare pattern. The bohi is full length and helps to create an audible tachikaze sound when swung correctly.
The blade is full tang with traditional construction. Saya: The saya features black gloss finish with a wood kurikata and long black cotton sageo.
Tsuka: The tsuba is blackened steel with a crane sukashi design. The fuchi and kashira are in a higo style with a vine motif. The tsuka features a single pinned mekugi and alloy flying crane menuki. The samegawa (ray skin) is genuine white ray skin with black cotton ito. The ito features alternating crossovers in a hinerimaki style.
