Forge Folded Handmade Six Sided Han Wu Chinese Jian

This is the Forge Folded Handmade Six Sided Han Wu Chinese Jian. The sword is a high quality jian that shows excellent forging and high quality mounts. The blade is six-sided and is highly polished forge folded steel with around 2,000 layers. This is a highly ornate sword and would be an excellent display piece.

Sword comes in a display box with silk sword bag.

Features

Blade: The blade of the Jian has been constructed from forge folded steel, through hardened, and highly polished. It has double grooves running the full length of the blade.
The blade comes full tang and very sharp.
Scabbard: The scabbard is masterfully made with exotic dark wood, with the wood contouring to the shape of the sword. The pommel of the scabbard is cast bronze with a dragon design cutout. A black silk cord is tied around the upper half of the scabbard with a cast bronze carrying clip with a dragon motif. The scabbard throat has been seamlessly fitted to the guard.
Handle: The handle core is made of wood, with black silk cord tightly wrapped around the handle in the traditional "X" pattern. The guard is also cast bronze, and displays intricately detailed dragons. The pommel has a dragon motif, also of cast bronze.
