Item Specs

This Brigandine is crafted from brown canvas with steel plates (16G) riveted in between its layers. It has leather straps and buckles on each side that are adjustable.

True to surviving originals, the gambeson’s arms are hinged at the yoke of the shoulders, rather than fully sewn to the torso, so in effect the armpits are “open”.

This allows for greater ventilation and means absolutely no “pull” upon the arm when swinging a weapon.

Very flexable construction that allows you to move around freely without causing the armor to pull up.

Perfect for Collectors and Enthusiasts.
