Item Specs

This is a Ryujin 5160 Spring Steel Handforged Sword. The blade is differentially hardened with an elegant suguha (straight) harmon. The geometry kissaki chu-kissaki or medium length tip is nicely polished. The tsuka or handle is double mekugi pinned and has real samegawa or rayskin panels and is wrapped with black cotton ito with brass dragon menuki. This sword has deluxe fittings with gold & silver plated Tsuba (hand guard), Fuchi and kashira.

Features

Blade: The blade of the Katana has been constructed from 5160 high carbon steel with clay temper process. The hamon has been authentically created and features a suguha hamon. The Kissaki is a Chu-Kissaki design with a Midare-komi turn back.
Guard: Gold & silver accents.
Handle: Traditional Japanese style cotton wrapped handle with real samegawa and double mekugi pins.
Scabbard: Made of wood with a black dull finish.
