The tricorn is a style of hat that was popular during the 18th century, falling out of style by 1800. At the peak of its popularity, the tricorne was worn as civilian dress and as part of military and naval uniforms. This 18th Century Leather Tricorne Hat is constructed from thick quality leather with shoe-grade stitching. It features a very broad brim stitched up on both sides of the head as well as to the front to produce a triangular shape and features a metal skull and bones emblem on the back of the hat. This hat would be a great addition to any pirate costume or colonial outfit.
