Item Specs

The Muscle Cuirass was first used by the Greek Hoplite. These early Cuirasses were plate armor constructed from bronze. When the Romans came to power they adopted the Greek style of Cuirass for their soldiers. In later Roman history the Cuirass was reserved only for the officers. As the power of the Empire grew the Cuirass became more ornate with animals, stories and mythological deities decorating the armor.

Interestingly no original Cuirasses have been recovered from this time period. Although, there have been Greek Hoplite Cuirasses that have been recovered from the 4th century BC.

Features

-The Cuirass is constructed of 20-gauge steel Carbon Steel with a tough black fake leather cover.
-There are six lether straps that secure the Cuirass. Strap is made of thick quality genuine leather. Each strap is adjustable with belt buckles.
-The Cuirass can fit most adults.
