The Crane Iaito Samurai Katana Unsharpened Sword is a great entry level unsharpened iaito to practice drawing, notto, and forms. This iaito features a 1055 blade, full length bohi with sharp termination, extended chu-kissaki, and steel tsuba hand guard. This is an affordable iaito training sword that does not compromise on quality.

Features

Blade: The blade has been constructed of 1055 monosteel which with an aesthetic gunome midare hamon added. There is an extended chu-kissaki with full length bohi grooves on both sides that have a sharp termination. This sword makes a tachikaze sound when swung correctly.
Saya: The saya has a black gloss finish. It features a thick black deluxe chemical fiber sageo tied in a presentation knot.
Koshirae: The habaki is made of brass with brass seppa and a sukashi Crane style tsuba made of blackened steel. The tsuka handle is shaped in the traditional Rikko (hourglass) shape and has gentle curvature to aid ergonomics. The fuchi and kashira are made of blackened metal alloy with menuki made of antiqued metal alloy. The black cotton ito is wrapped over white rayskin samegawa.
